A Sweet Opening

David Caso Production Craft was asked by Pedone Advertising to create 3-D artwork and the background image for the current splash screen for Sweet'N Low. David has a long history with the brand designing packaging and marketing materials for Sweet'N Low, Sugar In The Raw Raw, NatraTaste and many other brands of Cumerland Packing Corp. of Brooklyn.

Mark Nelson Designs Mailing

David Caso Production Craft was chosen by Strategen Creative Partners to handle the production management and assembly of the first of four highly tactile mailings for Mark Nelson Designs.

The mailings consist of carpet samples banded with a strip of deep red art paper which is embossed with the MND logo and closed in hot wax using a custom designed seal. Tucked under the band is a hand signed note that is imprinted on elegant letterpress stationery. The package is wrapped in kraft paper and sealed in a box with foil stamped dark blue art paper. The result is a memorable mailing that has already received very favorable responses from several clients.

Three more mailings are scheduled for this year. This is a good example of effectively using small batch or craft publishing to achieve a rich look with minimal expense. The production costs were much less than the cost of postage.

Tipping Point Raises $3M

David Caso Production Craft is honored to be chosen by Elixir Design in San Francisco to assist with the design and production of the materials for Tipping Point’s third annual benefit dinner and auction which was held on May 7. The non-profit, dedicated to “making poverty preventable, not inevitable,” provides grants and management expertise to organizations throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Over $3 million was raised in a single night. David Caso Production Craft donated all of it's time to the project.

The Tipping Point Board of Directors underwrites 100% of fundraising and operating costs. This means that every penny raised at the 2009 Benefit will go directly to the best poverty-fighting programs in the community.
